Christian Worship Hope Of Reunion Above.

When floating on life’s troubled sea,
By storms and tempests driven,
Hope, with her radiant finger, points
To brighter scenes in heaven.

She bids the storms of life to cease,
The troubled breast be calm;
And in the wounded heart she pours
Religion’s healing balm.

Her hallowed influence cheers life’s hours
Of sadness and of gloom;
She guides us through this vale of tears,
To joys beyond the tomb.

She bids the anguished heart rejoice:
Though earthly ties are riven,
We still may hope to meet again
In yonder peaceful heaven.
